Xui asked me to join and write-up my experiences as a noob on Second Life. My focus for the entire month of March 2026 will be on creating a clothing wardrobe composed mostly of gifts items costing $1 in Lindens or less. For the purpose of comparison, I have purchased at least one item for $99 or more but so far I have been able to resist the urge to “get it on sale” at a huge multiple of 1.

As Xiu and Colleen were advising me, I did get the CTS Wardrober product and I plan to add all the items that I keep (I have already deleted some) into this Wardrobe. That will involve having proper images of them that I will create and using the RLV extensions to make changing outfits simple and easy for a noob like me. As a preliminary test, I added two items to my Wardrobe and I learned quite a few things about how NOT to do this. So, I am stepping aside on adding things to focus on the unpacking of literally HUNDREDS of Second Life Store Gifts and Marketplace Gifts that I’ve been able to get for $0 or $1.

The idea here is to deal with a wardrobe at SOME scale. I know there are semi-professional users out there who have 100,000 plus items in Wardrobe. That will never be me, but I will go through how to add and use hundreds of items and find a path for mix-and-match combinations and custom-wearing important bits.

I have written around 100 reviews on marketplace, and the suggestion is that I should move my review space here, since it is self-policed and the freedom to speak is real.

If anyone has comments or concerns about my posts, they can reach my in Second Life.
